Ashley Meggitt is a British writer, musician, and triathlete. He left school early, aged 17, to join a psychedelic rock band – Double Zero – playing with them until their break-up several years later.  Ashley went back into education and after graduating took up a position at Jesus College, a Cambridge University college, as their IT Manager. He left the college in 2015 and retrained in psychology. He holds an MSc in Information Technology, an MA in Creative Writing, and a MSc in Psychology. He is currently an associate lecturer in sport psychology at Anglia Ruskin University where he is studying for his PhD. His debut novel The Dark Chorus is published by Darkstroke Books (October 2020) (darkstroke.com).

Ashley is also a member of the Cambridge based writers group, Angles.
